Have you tried exclusive the Naruto skins in Mobile Legends?
17 June 2025
Around a month ago, Moonton, the studio behind the hugely popular game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), announced the game’s biggest content drop ever in the form of an exclusive collaboration with Naruto. It was big news in the world of international esports, as no less than seven special Naruto collaboration skins were introduced with the goal of giving players the opportunity to experience MLBB as one of their favorite Naruto characters. On top of that, the game organized various events for players to win additional exclusive items, including battle emotes and in-game rewards.
Mobile Legends heroes x Naruto characters
As part of a major content collaboration, Naruto introduced seven new players skins in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. As part of this collaboration, seven popular MLBB heroes got paired with seven popular Naruto characters. The pairings are as follows, with the MLBB hero’s name followed by the paired Naruto skin:
- Lukas – Naruto Uzumaki
- Gusion – Minato Namikaze
- Hayabusa – Kakashi Hatake
- Suyou - Sasuke
- Kalea – Sakura
- Vale – Gaara
- Julian – Obito Uchiha
“Selecting which MLBB heroes would receive NARUTO skins was no easy task; the entire process took many months of testing and refinement”, explains Lyn Xi, Naruto Collaboration Lead at Moonton Games, “Each skin had to feel authentic, not only in appearance, but also how it would complement the hero’s abilities, traits, and lore. As such, we made sure to consider a variety of factors such as character synergies, fan expectations, and the gameplay experience. We're confident that the result offers an exciting fusion of two beloved universes that will please both MLBB and NARUTO fans alike!"
Successful launch event
The exclusive Naruto skins were launched a few weeks ago, at the time of writing, and they were accompanied by a large-scale launch event. During a limited period of time, the interface of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang was adapted to feature a Naruto theme upon logging into the game. Moonton also launched a limited-time Naruto-inspired map full of Easter Eggs and goodies for players. This included a temporary replacement of the Elemental Lord, the major MLBB antagonist, by Naruto’s principal bad guy, Madara Uchiha.
“For over two decades, Naruto has inspired generations with its themes of perseverance, friendship, and chasing one’s dreams”, says Xi, “Many of us grew up with Naruto, so this collaboration is a deeply personal one. We are honored to bring the ninja spirit to the Land of Dawn and celebrate Naruto’s enduring legacy with our community.”
Another crossover hit
Considering the success of the launch event and the ongoing popularity of the Naruto skins since then, we can safely say that the Naruto collaboration has been the latest addition to a long line of successful anime crossovers. In the past, Moonton teamed up with other major franchises as well, including Attack on Titan, Hunter X Hunter and Jujutsu Kaisen. The Naruto collab followed very comparable patterns, to the delight of players and fans alike. It will be interesting to see what other crossovers Moonton has in store for its players in the future.
