GRID Launches GRID Odds to Power the Future of Esports Betting
6 October 2026
A few weeks ago, we wrote an article about the future of betting in international esports, according to Riot Games and data platform GRID. Looking at their own data, the provider has been noticing a serious demand for esports betting options for a while now. In response to that, GRID recently announced the launch of GRID Odds, a full-suit esports betting server for gambling operators. The new product is giving operators accurate data-driven pricing, a wide range of markets and the possibility of live betting.
Esports betting growth
With the fast rise of technology, the online betting industry has gone through fundamental changes as well over the past few years. Operators can now offer more content and more accurate live data than ever, and the world of international esports itself is in full growth as well. At the cross-section of the two, GRID is seeing an important spot for esports betting, which it believes has great potential both in the short and the long term.
“Esports betting has now arrived and is the fastest-growing in-play sport on the board”, explains Thomas Warburton, Chief Business Officer at GRID, “Live betting now accounts for around 70% of all stakes in esports markets. In-map player options and in-round micro markets are not a modelling choice but rather are a question of access,” Warburton added. “Leveraging that access for our customers is why GRID Odds stands out in the market, letting us serve far more operators who are serious about esports.”
GRID Odds
GRID’s newest product is called GRID Odds, which offers its clients deep markets and in-house trading support. The whole system is built on a fundamental basis of official game data and purpose-built esports models, resulting in more than 200 live betting markets per day and a constant main market availability of well over 95%.
Online casinos and online bookmakers will only need to facilitate one integration to get access to all that GRID Odds has to offer. This goes from official data and proprietary odds to settlement and trading services, and anything in between. The goal is make both round-per-round betting and live betting available for players in a simple and structured way.
Data rights
One of reasons why the launch of GRID Odds is big news for the international esports industry as a whole is that the company holds plenty of data rights with various important players. These include BLAST, ESL FACEIT Group and Ubisoft. The more data rights GRID obtains, the greater the in-play markets they can enable for clients. As we write this article, GRID Odds is already live for various international esports titles, including Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends and Dota 2.
“GRID has been built on a single conviction: esports betting success depends on official data access”, says Warburton, “GRID Odds is the logical, scalable extension of that position. The exclusive data access is where the distinction becomes concrete. In-map player options and in-round micro markets are not a modelling choice but rather are a question of access. Leveraging that access for our customers is why GRID Odds stands out in the market, letting us serve far more operators who are serious about esports.”
